About Elise

During the final year of my Tourism Management studies in Breda, I graduated at Unico Travel in 2016. I have been working there ever since, focusing on planning trips, maintaining the website, and developing marketing activities. Working for a customized travel specialist offers both challenge and satisfaction. Every trip is unique, and it’s always a compliment when travelers tell me they experienced their dream trip afterwards. 

My first trip for Unico Travel was to Costa Rica. What an experience! Spending the night in the jungle, ziplining along a volcano, and spotting animals like sloths, toucans, and howler monkeys. 

In the following years, I traveled to Belize, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, among other places. Each country is unique, and that’s what makes Latin America so special. In Guatemala, I discovered the Mayan culture, in Belize I enjoyed the tropical islands and Caribbean atmosphere, and in Colombia I traveled through the Andes Mountains. Furthermore, the cruise along the worldfamous Galapagos Islands and the overnight stays in the Amazon rainforest in Peru are unforgettable! 

Of all the countries I visited, Peru holds a special place in my heart. Not only because of the impressive Inca city of Machu Picchu and the beautiful landscape, but also because of my personal connection. My boyfriend and daughter are Peruvian, which gave me the opportunity to experience the country in a unique way. I met the locals, discovered hidden natural landscapes, and got to know the rich culture from the inside out. This experience allows me to give travelers valuable and authentic travel experiences for their trip to Peru.
